5. How did you end up in the Energy Industry?

Serendipity. I graduated from grad school in 2008 when oil and prices were extremely high. Companies were hiring anyone with a geology degree, whether studies were relevant to energy or not.  

6. Why do you like working with Start-Ups?

They can make decisions quickly without being mired in layer upon layer of bureaucracy. I also believe the vast majority of innovation comes from start ups as opposed to large companies.

  • I was selected to work with Senior Scientists from the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, for 3 years while in graduate school

  • Presenting at the Hart Executive Oil Conference 2021

  • Becoming a father

The ability to easily dismantle irrational arguments and persuade people towards more logical positions

I don't know if I have one favorite song but some songs I absolutely love are: Neighbors (Grizzly Bear), Eriatarka (The Mars Volta), Altered Beast/Alter Me parts I-IV (King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard), Earth Departure (Animals as Leaders)

I'd start a non-profit organization that offers grants to people to help them realize their dreams.
